Martin Peter's was the first £200,000 footballer.

We were first to play a team valued at £1,000,000 (Man Utd, circa 1975/76).

We were one of the last to start selling our soul - we held out against shirt sponsors for the longest in the First Division.

Not to be confused with later occasions when we wanted a shirt sponsor but were unable to get one. One's principle, the other's incompetence.

"Most F**K Ups against clubs of a significantly lower stature in Cup competitions. (If not us, them we Must be in the Top 3)"

Actually, I don't think we've lost an FA Cup tie against a side outside the Premier League and the Football League since we joinded the Football League.

Closest was Hereford, who held us to a draw before we beat them in 1972, and then held us to a draw and beat us in 1974. But they got into the League in beween these ties.

First team to be promised / set expectations of Euro Champs league, no more struggles with relegation if they moved to a stadium with easily retractable seating that got the fans "acceptably" close enough to the pitch then find out it was all blatant lies and never got an apology.

Most "shat upon" / disregarded fans in the modern football era is perhaps another record?
